Lion Jim is a member of the Lewisville Lions Club in Lewisville, Texas, District 2E2. He has been a member since 1974. Lion Jim is married to Shirley. He was born on August 20. Lion Jim has held all offices in his club, has been Zone Chairman, Region Chariman, District Tail Twister, Vice-District Governor, and is the Past District Governor of 2E2. He has also held the office of 1st Vice-President of the Organ Eye Bank. This year he is serving as his own club as Secretary, again, must be a gluton for punishment. This year Lion Jim serves as LOL's Immediate Past President. Lion Jim is very proud to say that the entire MD2-Texas Council of Governors received the International Presidents Leadership Award Medal. Neve before has an entire Council of Governors received this award. Lion Jim is a life member of the Texas Lions Camp and a Life Member of the District 2E2 Organ and Eye Bank. He has received 13 years perfect attendance award and the District Governor's 100% award for 2000-2001. He is the Executive Director of the Lewisville Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center. Lion Jim is currently serving as President onf Lions OnLIne Lions club, and he states the "It is another versy special Honor for me". Lion Jim has received the Lion of the Year award and is a Melvin Jones Fellow. Lion Jim has been involved with the Boy Scouts for many years. Lion Jim enjoys golf, gardening, and watching sports.
